Publish America is sending my book to Oprah...

Whether or not she reads it is another thing...but, if she does I hope she goes to this blog and reads that I not only wrote Minions of Dominance & Minions of Servitude for myself, but for ALL the moms at home wanting to live out their dreams and not going forward with them because they're too unsure about trying! Get out there and do it girlfriend~it's never to late to pick up that paint brush, start a new hobby you've always wanted (yeah, yeah - i know, in all your spare time...), or whatever it is that floats your boat! Life is swirling past us (did you know we're moving right now at something like 1,800 miles an hour in space~let that one sit on your brain for a minute) and some of us are now reaching the time where the kids need us less and we need ourselves and each other more. Plan a girlfriend weekend for once a year (that's a do-able goal, don't you think?) and then book it; make reservation and make those girls pay and commit to a weekend of fun for just yourselves. Hug each other and get drunk (or not), go shopping even if it's just window and have a nice lunch - laugh and feel how good it feels to REALLY laugh. As another year closes, I am grateful for all of you and even though we don't see each other enough, you're in my thoughts. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Minions of Dominance

Grace is a writer investigating strange deaths all with a common denominator; the only thing stolen from each crime scene was a statue from a set called Minions of Dominance. She discovers that one of her leads not only knows of them, but Roman Beset has a pair. He can’t believe she looks exactly like his long lost love, Alessi. Together, Grace and Roman become tangled in a demon/vampire plot for Armageddon; will they be able to stop it? Moreover, what will Grace do when she finds out, that not only is Roman descended from “true witches”, but he’s the son of a vicious ancient vampire; making him a rare dhampir with incredible magic powers. The animal attraction they have for each other is undeniable and the action is suspenseful all the way to the surprise ending.

In a world where maniacal vampires slither in the night, Grace Markham finds herself in the center of demon mayhem. The reigning vampire Abaddon has proclaimed Grace and Roman’s unborn baby an ancient prophecy come true, because Roman is both vampire and True Witch--a rare and powerful dhampir. After Abaddon successfully turns the Minions of Dominance into Minions of Servitude, he’s able to capture Roman, leaving him powerless to interfere with Abaddon’s plans of Armageddon. An incarcerated Roman struggles to free himself to help Grace, only to find out he now risks losing her to another dhampir: Mason, a Rift Garrison sent to this dimension to protect her. Grace thinks Roman has abandoned her and turns to Mason, finding herself giving in to an intimate moment with him after hearing she is going to die and her baby is indeed a dhampir. Will Roman be in time to save Grace from the clutches of evil vampires? Will she survive the birth of her demon baby?
